They had spent a lovely day together. Akari watched as Evelyn and Alkirn bonded. It was only a few hours ago that Alkirn had been hostile towards Eve and now there they were, laughing and joking amongst each other.
.. .......
Things had settled down a bit as they sat and watched the fireworks explode in the black sky above decorating the dark canvas with bright colors.
"Alkirn. . . I . . . have to tell you something." Eve's voice broke the silence that stretched between them.
Alkirn glanced at Akari briefly, bewildered, silently asking her with his gaze if she knew anything about it, Akari shook her head. He then turned his gaze to Eve. "Yes?"
Eve fiddled nervously with a leaf she had somehow found. Then as if mustering up enough courage she took a deep breath. "I am pregnant."
There was a long silence. Alkirn merely looked at Eve, his expression blank.
His hand slowly went up and grasped his head. Akari thought it was a simple gesture.
"Are you... who is... How did this hap-..." Perhaps he was trying to process it all but suddenly a sharp gasp escaped him and he fell unto the floor screaming.
"Alkirn!" Akari fell to her knees beside him.
He tried to push her away, she wouldn't budge.
"Alkirn, baby what's wrong?" She insisted, trying to help but having continuous resistance on his part. His screams ripped at her heart.
"What did I do?!" Eve screamed hysterically. Akari should have told her it was not her fault but she was far too engrossed with her fallen mate.
His pain seemed to go on forever, her uselessly holding his hand which he seemed to accept gladly.
The waves left him weakened, finally he breathed out a soft sigh of relief, though his breathing had become labored. His gaze moved to find hers.
"It's the seal isn't it. . . answer me Alkirn. . . it's the seal isn't it?" She asked worriedly.
He opened his mouth, yet no sound came from him.
She understood now was not the time to argue. She had to get him home, they would discuss it after he rested. She lifted his arm over her shoulder, he made a small gasp and she lifted him effortlessly and let him use her as a crutch.
Eve eyed her wearily.
"Its fine. Hes not that heavy." She answer. Alkirn and Eve quietly looked at her. "What?. . ."She sighed. "I am sorry Eve. It's not your fault. Ok? Al. . . is just a stupid stubborn bastard is all." He grunted at her.
"Its. . . alright. . ." Eve answered.
"I. . . Will see you later ok?" She smiled at Eve. Eve smiled briefly before turning to take her leave.
She turned her gaze to Alkirns, " Alright love, I love you and all. . . but I am not carrying you home as human. I will use the ally ways don't worry, but I an shifting. Its easier for me to carry you that way." And she she moved towards a darkened ally.

  1. He cursed himself for losing control so easily, and yet he knew there was little he could do to stop the sudden outburst of energy escaping him. It was all he could do to hide the pain from Akari, knowing eventually it would overflow and take him under. And to think, it was over the news of his own daughter being- Could he really think of her that way? For now, it seemed absurd and irrational...
He lied on Akari's back as she guided them towards home. He groaned; fighting with Akari over the matter of the seal would be a pain in the ass. He would give anything to avoid it. And as they moved deeper into the alleys, his prayers were answered in the form of dark, menacing energy he could sense heading their way.

  2. Akari came to a stop. . . Her ears twitched as she became aware of a dark presence. She attempted to back up, a slow growl emanating from her throat. Alkirn stirred on top of her. She shifted back to human, carefully placing Alkirn against the wall. He protested, but she stilled him.
"I will only be a moment Alkirn." He held onto her hand weakly, shaking his head. She gingerly pulled away and turned towards the source. Within seconds they were surrounded by demons, each holding a distinct weapon in there hand. She moved closer to Alkirn, growling defensively to ward them off. Then they swarmed.

  3. "Akari," Alkirn gasped, trying to find the strength to move. Every muscle in his body ached in protest; he attempted to push past the pain until the very essence of his being screamed out in agony.
"Alkirn, stay put!" He hadn't realized until Akari called to him that he had been screaming aloud. He slid back down to the alleyway floor, his breaths short and fast. Dammit, body, move!!! He couldn't afford to be weak, he wouldn't let Akari fight them alone. His treasonous body would not comply and he cursed himself; he was defenseless, vulnerable, and the pain prevented him from correcting that.

  4. Alkirn's struggle broke her heart, and she was momentarily distracted when the first demon attacked. She let out a startled gasp as its cold blade scratched her arm. She spun, dodging the next array of attacks that came from them. She moved gracefully landing deadly blows to her enemies yet they continued coming at her from all sides. Akari shifted, her now massive jaws clamping down at the demons, tearing them appart. Yet they descended upon her. She felt them land onto her back, driving their claws and weapons deep. She growled snapping at them, their blood running down her chin.
Suddenly she was on the floor, her legs bounded together, they tied a rope around her muzzle to keep her from biting at them. SHe struggled against the hold. She shifted back to human, causing the bonds to losen. Her gaze found Alkirns, his panic fueled her determination. She would protect him. . .she would!
She moved closer to him, valiantly placing herself in front of the demon swarm.
They moved in once again she killed many of them, but she was growing weary, her stamina suddenly running dangerously low.
More and more hits landed onto AKari. She fell to her knee, a arm clutching onto the wound on her side, her breathing coming out in labored gasps.
"Akari. . ." Alkirns voice snapped her head to his, a demon approached him. She lunged at the demon locking with him in combat. A mighty blow to her stomach left Akari breathless, she gritted her teeth rolling him off and swiftly beheading him.
She quickly moved back to Alkirn, the demons sensing her weakening state. All Akari could do was pray she could defeat them and protect Alkirn.

  5. He could hear the maniacal laughter erupting from the demons as they cautiously advanced, crude smiles lining each of their twisted faces. And he saw, with a spike of adrenaline flowing in his veins at this realization, that she was surrounded.
Whatever the means, whether out of desperation or the sudden adrenaline high, his body was once more to control. Though it still caused him pain, he willed himself with this new found strength to leap to Akari's aid just as the demons closed in for the kill. Agony most terrible and barbaric overcame his body as he shielded Akari whilst pulling her down, the assaults of the merciless creatures never faltering. The demons' laughter increased in volume and levity as a bloodied Alkirn cried out in anguish from his wounds, attempting to see if he was successful in guarding Akari.

  6. "Alkirn!" No... No! Akari's breathing became panicked as she saw her precious Alkirn receiving the blows meant for her. The wolf inside yearned with the need to protect its mate.
She cried out as she saw one of the demons blades pierce Alkirns shoulder. As the blood poured down from the wound tear formed in her eyes and suddenly she lost control. The chaos within awakened, tearing its way through her defenses until it was in control. She screamed as a searing pain found its way to her head but it quickly dulled. She shoved Alkirn behind her within seconds, catching a demons hand as his claws came down. With a twist she easily severed the limb and the demon howled in pain. All around her the demons whispered.
A grin crossed her face, "Come now, are we done playing?" A ghost voice shadowed her own. Many demons advanced and she fought with the fury of a thousand demons, yet vaguely in the background she heard a demon shout, "This is what Nahia wanted! Get ready to extract!"
Realization hit Akari too late, they wanted her chaos to activate. . . but now she was too far taken by it, she couldn't stop it.

  7. Alkirn observed Akari as she whisked gracefully yet deadly amongst the demons, slaughtering them by the dozens only to be replaced by dozens more. He heard a small voice call out to the other demons, though unfortunately he was only able to make out one word: Nahia.
He remained still and watchful; vengeful for he knew if the seal were released upon him his wounds would heal and he'd be able to assist Akari.
It was all he could do to sit himself upright against the wall, the internal and external pain excruciatingly maiming his movements. Quite suddenly, he felt his hair being lightly displaced by a small, feminine hand. He looked up, alarmed that he had not noticed the presence earlier, and then anger filled his entire being as he realized who it was.
Speak of the fallen, he thought, growling at Nahia. She let slip a wicked smile in response.

  8. Akari was too focused on the demons to notice the fallen next to Alkirn. It was only when a demon managed to lace a rope around her wrist, pulling her towards him that her attention was brought to them. A deadly snarl ripped from her throat as she moved towards them. The demon tugged on the roped pulling her back. She spun, intent on destroying the demon yet another rope laced around her other wrist. Together the demons pulled her to her knees. Akari growled loudly attempting to free herself.
"Akari!" Alkirn yelled her name, she struggled furiously as panic began to set in, then a demon stepped within her line of vision.
Within his hand clasped a dagger. Akari's eyes went wide and an agonizing scream tore out of her as the dagger plunged into her chest. Though, it did not meet physical flesh, no, the dagger somehow hit her very soul. She could feel her chaos being transfered from her self to the dagger. The blade hummed with her power as it was pulled out of her, leaving her breathless and weak.
"Excellent." Nahia purred, she ,moved away from Alkirn and took the weapon from the demon staring at it with awe as it pulsated with chaotic power.
Akari stared weakly at it. Her gaze moved to find Alkirn's. HIs eyes were wide with shock. She could see the frustration within their depths.
A demon moved closer to her and knelt in front, a dog collar in his hands. A chorus of taunting laughs sounded as they place the collar around Akari's neck. She winced as they pulled it tight.
"Come on doggie, you said you wanted to play... lets play."

  9. "Enough." Nahia's voice was assertive and all the demons backed down. Nahia played with her new dagger, delighting at the power it now held. Without taking her eyes off of it she motioned to the demons.
"Rape the boy, make his mate watch. . . of course, then later on you may make the boy watch as you rape his mate. Do it quick I want to be home for dinner."
The demons smiled cruelly and turned their gazes to Alkirn. He growled at them, still unable to move his body.
"No!"Akari's voice was weak but Nahia listened and turned to face her.
"Please . . . d..don't. They. . . can r..rape me but. . not him. . . please not him." Her voice was laced with desperation but she didn't care. She couldn't bare the thought of watching Alkirn being tortured like that. . . no she swore to him that she would never let that happen to him. And she kept her vows.
"Oh? And what will you offer?"Nahia asked gazing playfully at Akari.
"I. . . you can.. . i will pledge my loyalty to you." Akari knew it was foolish. Stupid even. When wolves pledged their loyalty it was not to be taken lightly. It was like putting your life in someone else's hands but she knew that Nahia would never pass on an oppurnuity for her power.
"Oh? I like that." She contemplating for a moment then exclaimed, "Yes! Perfect. Now. . . say it. The binding words. Go on."
Akari took in a ragged breath. Her body had begun to feel the after affects, the strain she had put it through with her constant shift from human to wolf.
"Don't you fucking dare Akari!" Alkirn's voice rang through. He had somehow managed to stand, depending heavily on the wall behind him for support.
"Its ok Al. . ." It was all she could say.
Turning to Nahia she spoke in Romanian, "I, Akari Akuma, pledge my loyalty to the fallen Nahia Knight. My wolf, heart, and soul. . . now are at your command." Nahia laughed with delight.
"Wonderful!" She swiftly motioned to the demons, "You may take her. Have fun!"
    "Wait!" Akari cried out.
Nahia turned back to spare her an annoyed glace. "What?"
"He. . . he can't watch. . . Alkirn is not to watch!"
"Fine. Take him away." Then she was gone.
Akari couldn't look at Alkirn, she knew she would only find pain and anger at her. The demons began to descend upon her with rough hands and insults. She closed her eyes at the touches, her only condolence was that Alkirn was safe and that he would not watch as this horrid act occurred.
Little did the she know, the demons only bound Alkirn up and place tape over his mouth so that he would not cry out in outrage and ager as he watched them take his precious mate.

  10. No, NO!!! All of his efforts, fruitless; his power pointless, as he witnessed the demons swarm in on Akari. His heart wrenched with each scream and gasp she emitted; the demons holding him by the rope he was bound by laughed maniacally. At one point, Nahia's form intercepted his line of sight as she knelt down in front of him. One hand poised at his neck as a warning, her other mercilessly removed the tape from his mouth and he gasped the moment it was removed. He glared at her, knowing there was an ultimatum to be had, and she smiled devilishly.
"It was cute to see your wolf mate beg... Though I have to say, unfortunately, that you're too entertaining to pass up." She dismissed the demons that were guarding him. He growled; he knew a fallen would never keep a promise.
Now was his chance. If he could wriggle his way out from the bonds, he would be able to preserve his power and save Akari. Distastefully, he knew the only way to do so would be to comply with Nahia's advancements, hoping the struggle or maybe even Nahia herself would somehow loosen the rope. So, ignoring the screams of disgust he felt towards the fallen, Nahia's hands glided across his chest, her nails leaving deep scratch marks, and his lips were taken over by the foul woman.

  11. Akari squirmed, struggled beneath the demon. She tried to stay quiet, she tried so hard to not make a sound so that Alkirn would not hear but she failed. Fear and panic began to settle in and her instincts awakened. The wolf within fought for control. It was in utter turmoil at the act that Akari was allowing to happen.
Her screams were of pure agony. The demons tugged, pulled, pinched and scratched at her body. She snapped as a demon attempted to touch her face. With utter anger, the demon struck Akari leaving her dazed.
"Come on little bitch, cooperate here or we just might go get your mate to join." The demon hissed at her. She bit her lip, trying to calm herself but desperation settled in. Tears streamed down her face and she sobbed quietly. The demons laughed, taunting and teasing her weakness. It eventually got to the point where Akari's control began to slip, she began begging for them to end her life. Alkirn! God Alkirn! Her mind screamed as she gasped at the sudden invasion she felt.
It was when the demons laughter grew that she realized she had been shouting Alkirns name. She bit her lip in an attempt to quiet herself, her small fangs drew blood as bit down as hard as she could. This is never going to end. . . her mind said. And she began to believe it.

  12. Alkirn gasped, the waves of emotion crashing over him, leaving him hopeless and breathless. It was tangible, but foreign, and immediately he knew them to be the innermost thoughts and feelings of Akari. Fear and desperation filled his heart and in the back of his mind he could hear a small echo of Akari's thoughts in harmony with her audible shouts: "Alkirn! God Alkirn!"
He shoved Nahia away, a surge of power flowing through his body. Easily, he broke the bonds and leapt forward, his feet barely touching the ground with his incredible speed. His hands became drenched in sour, demon blood and each second one fell to their death right after the other. Effortlessly evading their attacks as they stumbled into and struck each other, Alkirn was instantly by Akari's side. He placed a finger over her lips as she tried to speak through short, desperate gasps.
"It's over, Akari," he said, his voice deep and sure. "You're safe now."

  13. Utter relief flowed into Akari. Alkirn held her in his arms and she buried her face in his neck. She tried to regain control but her tears streamed down as she sobbed quietly. Alkirn attempted to sooth her, giving her words of comfort as he stroked her back. She felt a slight tremble run through Alkirn and she pulled away too look at him. To her utter amazement, he was crying. He looked away as if trying to hide the from her but she somehow. . . deep within, feel, what he felt. The sorrow of not having been able to help sooner. The frustration and hatred he felt towards the seal. All of it, she knew it were his thoughts and feelings.
With a gentle hand, she turned his face towards her. She would have kissed him then, she would have stayed within his embrace but the she became increasingly aware of her wounds and earlier trauma. She felt dirty and unworthy.
She pulled farther away from him, she could not even bear to look into his eyes anymore. She stood, clumsily, her hand rested heavily on the wall next to her.
She could feel Alkirn's confusion as she stood there, gazing at the black, dirty asphalt.

  14. Upon looking at her, he knew everything. What she felt, what she thought... deeper than the connection his kind had amongst themselves. Her pain was his, her fear his own... and the utter self-loathing he felt now at this moment. What word was constantly popping into Akari's mind? Unworthy? Though he felt the gravity of the notion, he laughed in spite.
"The way your mind works, Akari... I find I may never understand." Her eyes flickered his way, but remained focused on the ground. He suddenly grew enraged.
"I fucked my own mother, Akari. I killed and absorbed the children I had with her to increase my own power. I have murdered, raped... and you think yourself unworthy of me?" Each word made Akari flinch, perhaps in response to Alkirn's own pain as he listed his sins. He shifted from side to side, foot to foot. "I couldn't even save you..." The tears nearly reformed but he laughed airily to prevent them from showing. "Akari... love... It is I who could not be more unworthy..."

  15. She couldn't understand why she felt all his anger, his sorrows. She merely stood there. She had no energy to fight with him. She felt like crawling into a hole and dying.
She knew Alkirn read her thoughts for he became enraged further.
"Don't you dare Akari. Don't you fucking dare." His was was low but she felt the menacing warning behind it. She knew he was right, but she didn't care anymore. His anger became hers.
"Fuck you Alkrin! Damn you to hell! I am so... tired of you bringing that up! i am so sick and tired of your constant reminders!" She suddenly gasped, as a sharp pain hit her. Then she saw it, the dagger that was now infused with her chaotic power. She knew it had not taken it all, she felt its faint presence within, it grew slowly as it regenerated its lost energy.
"Akari?" Alkirns voice sounded faintly in the background. She felt his sudden concern. She knew he could sense her feelings, they were somehow connected now. She didn't know why or how but it was deep and strong. She was sure he too felt the pull of the dagger. It called to her and it was all she could do not to go after it.
She quickly pushed it out of her thoughts in an attempt to keep Alkirn from worrying further.
"Now, we discuss the seal Alkirn. You will transfer it back to me. Now." It was request and the fact that she demanded this caused an array of emotions to resound from Alkirn. She knew she was in for a fight and oddly enough. she welcomed it.

  16. There was a push; no, a pull that called to him in the back of his mind... further back than what Akari probably felt. He shook his head; why did he feel such things?
"Seriously, Akari? I already told you to drop it." And as if on cue, Alkirn again became aware of the growth of pain as he repressed the excess power leaking through the seal. It would never lessen; it was a continuous river of darkness generated from the Auranov within. Though his body became blanketed in excruciating and growing pain, he betrayed none of this through his facade. Akari raised an aghast eyebrow. He rolled his eyes.

  17. "See! Alkirn, please. Just. .. damnit! Stop acting like a little bitch and give it to me." Alkirn raised an astonished eyebrow at her. She let out a frustrated huff.
Then the pull became increasing. She fought hard to push it back into the furthest confinements of her mind.

  18. In a flash he was directly in front of Akari, his lips grasping her's. In between the gasps and shock on Akari's part, Alkirn mumbled, "You're distracted... How do you... expect to make a solid argument... if your mind... is elsewhere?" He held her body close to his, devouring her. He was frustrated, he was weak, and there was pain: not from the seal... but in knowledge that had no idea how to help Akari. He couldn't protect his precious light...
"I love you, Akari," he breathed. "... I would never... consider you unworthy... ever..."

  19. Her heart filled with utter joy at his words. Yet, she felt his frustration, his pain. She heard his voice in the back of her mind, 'I can't protect my precious light'. No she didn't want him to think that way. It was not his fault. None of it was. Just as she was about to tell him she felt it. His sudden wave of pure lust. It mingled with hers, intensifying it to the point she cried out of pure ecstasy. It left them both shaking. She felt Alkirn grew still, his breaths mingled with hers as they attempted to assess what had just happened. She heard him swallow as if unsure what to do next;should he continue?

  20. He leaned in again, slowly, and carefully locked lips with Akari once more; his senses tingled as they were amplified twofold. Akari gasped beneath his lips, perhaps having just felt as he did. He increased the intensity, with Akari eagerly leaping in. His mind swam in the sea of desire shared by him and Akari. He stroked her waist, he trembled. She stroked his chest, she moaned. It was sensational, beyond comprehension...
    And he wanted more.

  21. Alkirn's touches sent small shivers of pleasure through Akari. She knew he felt it just as much as her and more. He moaned as her hand traveled downward, unbuttoning his pants.
His tongue stroked her eagerly, his hand finding the small of her back to draw her closer.
"Alkirn. . . " She meant for it to be a warning, that perhaps they shouldn't, not here and now, but his name left her lips in a soft moan. Their movements became more demanding, the passion between them escalating as time went by until the whole world melted away.
Alkrin pinned her against the wall using it as a support for as he moved into her. She cried out at the immense pleasure that over took them both. Alkirn's breath was hot against her neck. Her fingers tangled in his silken black hair as she brought him to her lips once more. The ecstasy they felt in unison was incredible. Never before had she felt this amazing, this connected to her precious Alkirn.

  22. He groped her thighs and thrust his waist into her; hissing as intense shivers were sent down his spine. Akari's ecstatic euphoria coursed within him and knew she, without even so much as physical encouragement on her part, wanted him to go harder. He drew all the strength available in his body and lunged inward, piercing her very existence.
The two of them cried out in agonizing pleasure, their bodies squirming from the amplified after effects of the orgasms. It lasted minutes, and when it subsided the both of them could hardly catch their breaths. Regaining the chance to breathe, Alkirn laughed in delight as Akari's moved to his waist and caressed them, urging him to go again.

  23. She could never get enough of him. She wanted him to take her over and over. She wanted to feel every emotion they had just experienced together. Alkirn was more than happy to oblige. He held her firmly as they became one once more. The night air filled with their moans, gasps, and cries of ecstasy. Never before had their been such a connection as this between wolf and vampire. Their bodies coated with sweat, the pleasure once again intensifying. She could feel they were both close once more. She arched her hips, she never even needed to verbalize what she wanted from Alkirn, he knew. With this new bond they moved in unison, neither having to say a single word for the other to take action. Akari wrapped her legs around his waist, Alkirn pounding into her core, each matching the others rhythm. Once again they reached that sweet climax. Both crying out once again, yet she never wanted it to end.
She ran a trembling hand over his hair, which was now drenched from sweat. All the horrid memories dissolved, the night seemed endless for these passionate lovers.
"A..Alkirn." They were both completely breathless. His eyes met hers, and a wicked smile appeared. Instantly she knew his thoughts and gasped as he began to kiss her once more. . . He was just getting started.

  24. Ah, my little Akari, he thought wickedly... you haven't seen anything yet. He traveled down from her lips; savoring her neck, the chasm between the canyons of her breasts, her soft abdomen... She shivered as he licked the inside of her thigh and gasped in shock as he invaded the opening with his tongue. Her body convulsed and her hands scrambled against the wall to find something to grasp, to no avail. Akari whimpered his name repeatedly, overwhelmed by the spell of sensual pleasure, as Alkirn tasted and devoured her insides. Alkirn himself was almost left breathless as Akari's strong sensuality overcame him as though it were occurring in his own body.

  25. She didn't know this was possible, yet she found herself opening to him more allowing more access to her very core. Alkirn breathy laugh sent shivers down her spin as he took her invitation. She heard his sudden gasp as she climaxed ,knowing he felt it too and relished in the pleasure that flowed from him.
"Alkirn. . ." His name left her in soft moans as her orgasm took her in waves.

  26. He stood once more, his eyes blazed with passion. Their breathing was ragged and in between all the pleasure Akari had completely forgotten about Alkirn's seal. Now she saw it in his eyes, the pain was starting to return, she felt it. It mixed with her own now that she became increasingly aware of the wounds that still marred her body. Its like they were slapped out of their world as Alkirn shuttered against the incoming wave of power that his inner Auranov released. It wanted out.
She gritted her teeth at his pain, knowing he would never transfer the damned seal to her.
And then it called. It was stronger than ever before and its intensity within her weakened state caused her to cry out. She lost the strength to stand and she fell upon the ground. She trembled as she felt her wolf begin to emerge. She shifted involuntarily, crying out once more at the unnatural behavior of this shift. Someone was forcing her to do so, she knew it. The dagger? But how? . . .No. . . Nahia. The memory of her pledge to be loyal only to her came crashing into her mind. Oh God. . . what have I done?
All the while she felt the growing concern and pain that came from Alkirn as he knelt beside her. Her wolfen eyes met briefly with his, she didn't need to speak for Alkirn to know whom was responsible for this.
'Alkirn. . .' she thought in her mind, hoping they could communicate with this new bond. 'T..The dagger. . . S..she has it. . . I... I think shes using it. . to...' her thought stopped short as she underwent a shift once more, from wolf to human. It left her gasping, trembling as her muscles spasmed, unaccustomed to the constant strain the shifts put her under.

  27. "Akari!" Alkirn bellowed through the pain. He was nearly left breathless, feeling the strain of her transformation combined with his own growing agony. He would make Nahia pay for this... He would rip her apart himself!
"So this is where you've taken my toy?" Alkirn sharply turned his attention to the fallen, standing at the end of the alleyway and a shining dagger within her grasp. He had little time... Akari was still undergoing the transformation; he had to strike quick before the loyalty within Akari prevented him from killing Nahia. Without regards to the fact that he was still completely nude, he rushed toward Nahia, ready to attack.
"Ah, ah, ah," cooed Nahia and mid-attack, Alkirn stopped and was pushed to the ground by an unknown force. She walked over and knelt beside him. "I see. You're the one who removed Akari's seal... and placed it upon yourself." A crude smile crossed her face. "This works out nicely. Let's see what happens when I increase the intensity."
She waved a light hand and Alkirn's body immediately recoiled; murderous, haunting, and agonizing screams escaping the center of his being. The restrained monster lashed out angrily; Alkirn thought his body would explode. Yet at the same time, it felt as though he were caving in on himself and being sucked into a black hole. The different waves of pain clashed, and it was the point of their collision that Alkirn's existence was slowly starting to rip itself apart. He couldn't think, he couldn't move, there was only pain. All he was sure was that he wanted it to stop, wanted death even, and the desire screamed at him as loud as he was screaming at the world for his release.

  28. Alkirn! Her mind screamed as she felt his undying pain. She was helpless, she couldn't move as she shifted once more to wolf.
Nahia turned her gaze to Akari, "I think I will enjoy Alkirn since he is so.. . "She ran her gaze up and down his body. Akari bared her fangs as anger arose within her. "Ready." She finished.
Akari let a menacing snarl erupt from her throat. Nahia waved a finger at her and held up the dagger. "Now, I will enjoy your beautiful vampire while you get shot at by humans. They tend to shoot at the things they don't understand or that frighten them. Sad really." She waved her hand calling forth the power within the dagger and said, "Now, Akari, I call upon your loyalty to me, go forth and do what you were made to do. Cause utter chaos. Go on, try not to die. I have more plans for you"
Akari was bound by loyalty. . .she was powerless as the sudden power willed her to obey, her emerald green eyes were now crimson rubies. She stood, her height would have towered over Alkirn should he have been standing. Her breath left her mouth in visible puffs of smoke as the cool night air hit it. A demonic howl filled the night air as she bound past them towards the unsuspecting humans.

  30. "NOOO!!!" was the only distinct word Alkirn could muster. He willed himself to move, though he was unsure of his own body as all he could feel was the unending pain. His mind consumed with it and growing foggy with the intense agony, he was sure he was beginning to unhinge and that death would follow shortly. Then, slowly, he felt the pain lessen and almost believed he was dying until he saw Nahia's hand wave over him. He gasped for air, choking on each breath. It was all he could do for his entire body was paralyzed and wouldn't move no matter how much he willed it to.
"That's better. You were starting to give me a headache," cackled the fallen. He glared at her, wanting to tell her to fuck off but he couldn't find his voice, all of it having been spent on screaming. The wickedest, cruelest smile lined her face and for once he felt utter panic as she began to grope his body. No, no, NO!! He couldn't stop her. He could only continue his screams of agony as Nahia claimed him once more.

  31. Akari felt Alkirn's desperation. No! She had sworn she would protect him of such actions yet she found herself here instead. The humans ran from her as she slaughtered them by the hundreds. Cars skidded to a stop, some ramming right into her in a sad attempt to stop her. She tore those apart her fangs dripped with their blood.
In the background she heard sirens ring. The flashing lights of the police cars angered her. She lashed out. She destroyed what seemed like dozens of the cars. Humans screamed around her, running in panicked hordes. Alkirn's pain became increasing, the very thought of her precious vampire being abused in such a way caused her to become enraged even further. Alkirn! Love, please. . . God Please Alkirn, fight. Baby fight please. Hoping that the distance would not effect the bond they now shared. And apparently it did not, for their minds screamed in unison as a searing pain hit Akari's side. The bullet tore through her leaving her insides devastated. She was helpless as they charged forward. The human's animal control units surrounded her. A frightening thought filled her mind. . . What would they do to her if Nahia forced her to shift back now. . .

  32. He was disgusted. With himself, with his weakness, especially with the fallen. He pushed through the pain, through his paralysis; he had to fight, he had to stop her from controlling Akari. He shoved Nahia away from him; every time he did so, however, she would slightly increase the seal's power again and he'd hesitate in pain. No... I can't let her do this... No!!
His mind snapped, and suddenly everything was in his control; he felt power coursing through him. He shoved Nahia away for the last time and sprinted toward Akari with all of his might, no matter how painful it was. He wouldn't be taken so easily again. He would save Akari!

  33. She snapped at the approaching humans, blood seeped through multiple gunshot wounds the more she moved. She heard them shout, but her wolf mind no longer comprehended their words. She was running on pure instinct. The one thing she was aware of was Alkirn.
Akari! Stay strong, love, I am coming! She heard his beautiful voice and she whined with longing. The humans cornered her and she snapped. She lunged forward ripping apart the humans. Utter chaos surrounded her as they ran away screaming. The surge of chaotic energy coursed through her.
Run little humans! Run! She laughed in her mind. Oh the sweet flow of energy, chaos waas truly beautiful! She howled to the moon above as they scrambled.
"Akari!" Her name was called out. She turned her crimson gaze to the man. He stood out amongst the chaos and mayhem. Akari cocked her head to the side and moved toward him. The humans scrambled to move out of the way screaming, yet the man stood his ground.
Akari, love snap out of it, please. There was pain in his eyes. She could hear his voice in the back of her mind and it soothed a distant part of her. A soft whine escaped her as a lost part of her began to emerge.
He moved closer to her a,trembling hand slowly rising to rest on her massive muzzle.
The humans had gathered once more. Shots rang through the air, Akari snarled as the searing pain hit her. She heard the man scream with her, somehow she knew he felt her pain. She stumbled as a lightheadedness took her. With a loud thump she fell upon the ground as her life slipped away.

  34. "Dammit!!" He turned his gaze to the humans who dared hurt his precious Akari, they're guns pointed at the both of them. A burning, scorching flame roared within him and the power, the very same one which had helped him escape, emanating from his being. Years it had been since he had used it and he relished in it willingly and delightfully. He ignored the pains of the jealous Auranov and instead enveloped himself in the energy of pure, euphoric destruction.
"Sir, step away from the beast," called an officer through a blow horn. Alkirn stepped forward and betrayed a demonic smile.
The crashing sound of broken electric lines filled the air, the wires dancing melodically everywhere and setting nearby cars and shrubbery into a ball of flames. The bulbs of streets lights burst and the earth slowly began to quake. Through the force of utter destruction consuming the scene, a maniacal laugh could be heard resounding exotically and without restraint. Alkirn's jubilant cries were cut short when he felt a small voice calling out to him. He turned to meet Akari's gaze as she lay weakened and bloodied on the floor. Ah yes, he thought, this is why I despise using this power... I tend to forget matters at hand.
He approached Akari and knelt beside her, tending to the critical wounds as he repeated to her, "I am here, Akari. You will be fine."
Amongst the disarray and mayhem, a single gunshot was fired and Alkirn hissed as it delved deep into his shoulder blades. He glanced backwards at the officer, who instantly was struck by a stray electric wire. Alkirn shrugged, trying to ease the pain. "We're going to have to get you out of here to finish treating your wounds," he said to Akari. She groaned and he proceeded to pick her up.

  35. His voice was the only thing keeping her there. She gasped as he moved her, the pain seemed endless coming from both her and Alkirn.
"Step away from the it sir! Last warning." A low growl resounded from Akari, Alkirn passed a soft hand through her hair. Soothing her, "It's alright my little Akari, do not mind them. " He didn't even move as she felt his destructive power begin to hum and the annoying human was instantly killed. She smiled weakly, wincing as he took her into his arms. She struggled to remain awake but she felt so weak. . . so tired.
She felt a rush of fear from Alkirn.
"Akari, don't, love don't go to sleep, please!" He was panicked his breathes quickened. His power erupted as he sent out a wave of destructive force clearing the way immediately. But she still felt his pain. His pain was more unbearable for her than her wounds. With a bloodied trembling hand she reached up. She aimed to caress his face, she wanted to give him a sort of comfort but it merely rested on his chest.
"Alkirn. . . " Her voice was just barely audible.
"Shh, Akari, do-..Don't strain yourself." His voice shook. She her eyes met his. She lost herself in their beautiful deaths.
Her eye lids grew heavy as she struggled to keep awake. She hadn't even noticed they had been moving the entire time as the darkness began to take her, dragging her deeper into oblivion.

  36. "Akari... n-no." He could feel the bliss of death consuming Akari, the release of heartache and pain. He could feel her limbs grow heavy, the blood like cold ice within her veins. He searched deep within her eyes, as if eye contact would increase the waves of her thoughts. But they were blurry, repeating only a single word. He shook his head as an answer arose within his mind. Maybe, just, maybe, again it could...?
"Hold on a little longer, my light." Slowly, as though she were a fragile doll, leaned into her neck and bit into the outermost vein, injecting his own blood into Akari.

  37. A sudden rush of emotion washed over her. At first she thought for sure it was her own, but as she came to she realized that it was Alkirn's. Desperation, hope. . . love. With a gasp her eyes flashed open and she was looking up at the star filled sky. She felt the Alkirn's hair against her cheek as she became aware of his fangs within her neck.
She moved a hand to stroke his hair, "Alkirn. . . "
He drew back, a small trickle of blood ran down his chin. Joy flowed from him now as she was showered with his kisses. He murmured her name over and over as he held her close. They held each other for the longest moment until the shouts around them began to sink in.
"Alkirn. . . we . . . we have to get out of here. The. . . the humans . . ." He was already up and moving. She cursed herself for not being able to walk, she could feel the exhaustion in him, she knew he was straining himself to his limit. The damned seal. . . she would make sure Nahia paid dearly. She would rejoice as the fallens blood fell. She would relish the feel of her limp body between her jaws.
Alkirn chuckled. A slow blush flowed into her as she remembered that they were now connected, every thing she felt he felt, everything she thought would be his thoughts as well. She had to wonder why. . .
